Tim Felix is playing an acoustic gig on Wednesday,
July 18th at a venue called Eclipse, 158 Old Brompton Road, Chelsea.

He'll be on stage at 9.00pm, and entry is free before 9.00 so try not to be late! At the gig we'll be selling copies of Luminosity, recorded with Stars in Exile, for £5.

Our debut album Luminosity is reviewed in this month's Rhythm magazine... well I say reviewed, in fact he went on about the fact that he didn't know where we were from... as if that matters!!! Still he said he like it and compared us to The The, so that's not too bad. He also said nice things on the CD and there is a clip of Woken Up there...

...hopefully the first of many favourable reviews. See some of you tonight at The Orange.

Many thanks to everyone who came down to the Bull & Gate gig, look out for some pictures and a set list soon.

Another great new feature of the site launches today: from now on everyone who joins the Stars in Exile Mailing List will get access to a new Exclusive area. Currently in this area we have two full-length MP3 tracks of two songs that didn't quite make it onto the album, they are acoustic versions of Daughters of the Sun and Balanced. In the future there will be lots more exclusive tracks, videos and other great stuff.

So how do you join the Mailing List? Easy, head over to the Contact Us page, fill in your email address in the box and click on Submit (make sure that the Subscribe button is selected). You can also remove yourself from the Mailing List using the same form, but selecting the Unsubscribe option - but of course you'll never want to do that will you!

The gig at the West Cornwall Pasty Co.Ltd in King's Road has had to be re-arranged, stay tuned for more details of the new dates.

We're also planning more warm up acoustic sets to try out material from the new album and get in some practice before embarking on full gigs.

Recording continues at BBMC and Hide & Seek, there are now 9 tracks in production and we hope to bring you some more clips later in the month, plus more details on the name and running order for the album.

Recording for Stars In Exile's album continues apace, backing tracks are being recorded at the immortal BBMC Studios, London, UK (Aswad, The Wailers, UB40 etc...) and vocal and percussion overdubs at Hide & Seek Studio and various other locations in London. Final mixes will be done at several locations but primarily (hopefully) 2nd Sense Studios in Borehamwood.

Some working titles from tracks on the album are Stone of Resolution, Up By The Gate, Summertide and Woken Up.
